A freewrite written to "Le Vent, Le Cri" by Ennio Moricone. This is one of my favorite pieces of classical music. I finally found the words to describe what scene unfolds for me while listening to it!]
In the dawn of time, lovers join in a dance of joy, delight, and wonder. The world is an amazing place with open fields, sun, and the idyllic days of Summer. Soon, however, the steps become jagged and out of place. Where is the rhythm? Where is the flow? Loss and confusion surface from the lack of unity. But, inwardly one knows there is hope, peace, and wisdom. The wise words seem to whisper through the air "Trust the process. Don't give up." The dancers reach for each other with a sense of desperation. The current of life ebbs and flows. Finally, there is a sense of being held and nurtured through it all. Hope abounds. May the dream of bliss never end. No matter what - the memory of pure love and innocence never fades.
Here is the classical piece that prompted my creative writing...
Le Vente, Le cri
